When children play
There are no accounts or logins, and we never ask for a child’s name. While a child plays:
- their answers are kept in the browser on that device, to show the session report;
- settings, such as voice speed or high contrast, are saved on the device so they are there next time;
- none of this is sent to us, and Start fresh clears it.
Spoken questions
Questions are read aloud from recorded clips that the device downloads from play.nimbletots.co.uk. The request says which activity is playing, never who is playing it.
When you contact us
If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply, and keep them for [period]. Messages from the form are delivered by our email provider, Resend. [Confirm Resend’s data processing terms and where it processes data.]
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out spam. It checks that a real browser is sending the form. [Add Cloudflare’s own description of what Turnstile processes.]
People who edit this website
Editors sign in with their Google account. We keep their name and email address to run their account, and a cookie keeps them signed in.
Hosting and statistics
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the service secure. The website’s content is stored by Supabase in London. [Confirm retention periods.]
We count visits to this website with Cloudflare Web Analytics, so we know which pages are useful. It sets no cookies, does not track you from site to site, and does not identify you: we see totals such as page views, the pages people came from, and the country and type of device. The activities at play.nimbletots.co.uk count nothing.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
